Day 40

Playground slang cheat sheet

Mechanics only after the basics

Speech-bubble shapes for playground slang

Hook

A light decoder ring: shiny, meta, pull, brick, god pack — and friends.

The bit

You don’t need fluency. You need a few words: shiny (rare color), pull (what came out of a pack), brick (sad rip), meta (what “strong players” fuss about), god pack (absurdly lucky myth/moment). Ask them to teach the rest like you’re the intern.

Why kids light up

Teaching slang flips the classroom. They become the glossary with opinions.

Tonight spark

Try this tonight

Have them teach you one slang word you’ll use correctly tomorrow — pop quiz them later.
